I'm pretty content right now. I stayed home from school today because I felt kind of sick (and my parents were like, it's a pretty useless school day, stay home and study :3) so I've been studying the whole day. Literally. I took a 40 minute break to watch ANTM, and a 30 minute break for my piano lesson. Other than that, I've been studying all the time. I've read through 3 Bio books and taken 2 practice tests. On the practice tests I've consistently gotten 700+, so I'm satisfied that I'm not going to totally fail. :)
Now I'm taking a break to watch Gossip Girl, then maybe I'll study a bit more (I still can't seem to remember all the details about classification, and they're kinda important since I'm taking E instead of M).
Why do you go to so many different schools? It's so random. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE I'M GONNA SEE YOU NEXT WEEK! :DDD CAN'T WAITTTTTT.
So since I've spent the whole day studying, I don't really have anything interesting to say. OH I finally got teacher recommendations! :D But they're in paper form... Now I have to tell the teachers to somehow put them onto the Common App... Eh, at least I don't need to worry about getting them anymore.

P.S. I don't care where we eat, anything's fine with me. I just wanna see you. :) And we shall tour the school because otherwise I will be completely lost on Tuesday. I have no idea what I'm gonna do on Monday though because my dad starts work then so I'll be lonely. :( Maybe I'll enjoy some quality American television. ;D haha

Senioritis, Senior Skip Day, and Senior Citizens.
Rika,
Sucks you have to go to school from 8-4, but at least its still 8. remember, when you get here you have to wake up at freaking 6:00, or if you are me, get waken up by my sister at like 6:50 and start flipping out.
Anyways, so lucky your school days are 10-4, though.
And oh my goodness...my mom gets worried when I sleep earlier than 12-1..LOL. it sucks.however, thats usually because I wait last minutes to do notes. On a typical school night I will go to sleep at 12:00.
School is horrible for me... First, I go to highschool A from 7:20 to 12:30, then i go to highschool B from 1:00-2:30, and then go to highschool A again 'till 3:00.
Today after 3:00, I went to Saher's house to work on a project...then at 4:30 we went to the hospital to feed senior citizens. It was very difficult, and I decided that I would never try waitressing. Anywho, we got out at 6:30, and I just got home now. SO STRESSED
so yea. i definately feel your pain :(
Fortunately, it is a Jewish holiday tomorrow so I have off, and I am skipping school Friday for Senior Skip day. Unfortunately, I have to go to ANOTHER highschool on thursday and friday, Highschool C from 1:00-2:30.

P.S. That would be wonderful. Do you want to go out for lunch? Your parents could drive, but we could easily walk somewhere! After, I have to talk to the guidance counselor, which won't take long at all! Then I can tour you around the school!!!!

Stress-Induced Rant
Momo,
I'm stressed. Really stressed. Really really stressed. I'm starting to sound like you (or you're starting to sound like me?) with the whole "I'M NOT GONNA GET INTO COLLEGE" thing. But seriously, I have SATs on SATURDAY. That's in like 3 DAYS. And yea, they're the subject ones (Bio, Math 1, Math 2). And like, I ordered this Bio SAT Study Guide thing a while ago, and it arrived like last week, but last week I had to study for bio and chem tests so I didn't have time to study. So basically, I have to learn everything in that 400 page book in a week. OH and I have to do all of the homework we get from school.
My day yesterday:
School from 10-4. Got home. Did math homework. Studied for SATs until 8. Wrote chem lab report. Did practice SATs until 12. Got pissed off remarks from my parents for staying up so late. Got pissed off myself because it's not like I even WANTED to stay up until midnight.
And for tomorrow I should write a commentary/analysis about a poem and read 4 chapters from our book. In addition to studying of course, because yesterday I took a practice bio SAT and my goal was to get at least 730. Let's just say that my result was nowhere close to that... Oh, and tomorrow my school day is from 8-4... THE JOY.

College: Love It and Hate It
Momo,
I'mma be there on Thursday already, at like 4 or something. On Friday we're meeting with the school at 11.
I know what you mean about college, I'm so freaked out. College is gonna be so fun, but the application process is scawyyyy. One of the teachers I asked to write a recommendation keeps avoiding my request.
Me: "Could you write a recommendation for me?"
Teacher: "Uh, I have to consult with the IB coordinator about this."
Next week
Me: "Even though I'm leaving, I still need a recommendation."
Teacher: "Yes, I got a message about that, but I still haven't talked to the coordinator."
So basically, I've gotten nowhere with her. With the other teacher it was so much simpler!
Me: "Could you write a recommendation for me?"
Teacher: "Ok."
Ugh, anyway, I have NO idea what to write for the essay! w8au39p8u4a :(
Haha, Drexel, that's my backup school. They sent me this email like "You're VIP at Drexel" and then they waived my application fee and stuff. Preeeetty nice. ;)
Yesterday I read The Glass Castle, it was pretty good actually. I liked it, even though the family was incredibly dysfunctional. I was surprised at how interesting it was because usually school books are boooooring.
I also spent like 4 hours typing up a study guide for the SAT Biology test. Now I have 41 pages of stuff to memorize. I also have 2 chemistry lab reports due, 10 chapters to read from our English book, and a Math test on Monday.
Now I'm gonna go do my Bio homework...

WOW. Neighbors had ANOTHER house party. GO FIGURE. COULDN'T SLEEP. LOUD MUSIC.
THEN, apparently, my mom tripped over my computer cord.
So my stuff on word documents saved, but stuff I was working on, on the internet...DID NOT.
meaning my short response for common app and my DREXEL ESSAY.
Neither of them were super long, but took TONS of time and THOUGHT.
and I'm immensely pissed, because this is not the first time this has happened. My mom once deleted a 12 page essay. I know.
The thing is, on this computer, the cord is pretty much in an obscure area where you wouldn't go...
Why does my life suck so much?
Oh, and since I'm getting fatter, my mom won't let me eat chocolates anymore.
